Job available for a friendly Farm Vet – come and join us!

100 % Farm animal vet needed for 5 vet independent commercial farm animal practice to support our expansion and growth.

We are looking for a vet with farm vetting experience to come and join our small, progressive, supportive and very friendly team in the heart of the South Downs. A beautiful area to provide a high standard of clinical care to forward thinking clients that like you to go the extra mile. We cover Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey based from our centrally located purpose built office near Petworth. The work includes a mixture of dairy, beef and sheep with an emphasis on preventative health care. Between all of the vets we offer the full range of services from bull breeding soundness, ROMs accredited mobility scoring, AI training, flock health club, knock down disbuds, farmer education and training and a whole lot more. We employ a full time ATT for TB testing, minimising the routine testing done by vets.

Location: The practice is based near Petworth, West Sussex

Salary: £40,000 plus depending on experience & qualifications

Hours: 4.5 day working week & maximum 1 in 4 on call

Holidays: 5 weeks plus bank holidays (and your birthday!)

Additionals: Vehicle (cow print van if you are lucky!) & phone provided, ultrasound scanner per vet, RCVS, VDS & 1 subscription, generous CPD allowance & private health care
